
GLA & Co Secures Merger Control Clearance for Sale of Minority Stake in KFIC Brokerage
GLA & Company has successfully secured merger control clearance from the Kuwait Competition Protection Agency (“CPA”) on behalf of KFIC Brokerage Company (Closed Kuwaiti Joint Stock Company) (“KFIC”), in connection with the acquisition of a 31% stake in the company by Trolley Capital Real Estate Company LLC (“Trolley Capital”). Both entities are incorporated in Kuwait. The transaction marks a strategic move within Kuwait’s capital markets, reflecting the continued evolution and consolidation of the local brokerage and financial services sector.
KFIC is a licensed brokerage firm providing securities trading and investment services in Kuwait. The investment by Trolley Capital is expected to bring additional value to KFIC’s long-term strategy and reinforce its market presence.
