GLA & Co Acts for Digitus in Kuwait’s Google Data Center Expansion

GLA & Company is proud to announce its instrumental role in facilitating a significant multi-year agreement between Digitus DC, a leading provider of data center and digital infrastructure solutions and a subsidiary of Hayat for Communications K.S.C.P., and Google Cloud Services Company SPC Kuwait. The agreement, which pertains to providing colocation hosting space with a capacity of several megawatts for Google at the project site in the Al-Mutlaa area, Kuwait, is valued potentially up to US$ 50 Million.

This strategic deal is a vital component of the Kuwaiti government’s broader initiative to expand digital infrastructure across the country, including the construction of three new Google data centers, as recently approved by Kuwaiti authorities and Google’s strategic alliance with Kuwait for data center expansion.

This groundbreaking project leverages Digitus’s extensive expertise in developing and operating hyperscale data centers and digital infrastructure solutions, reinforcing Kuwait’s position as a regional hub for digital innovation. The total deal value between Google and the State of Kuwait is estimated to exceed $1 billion, underscoring the scale and strategic importance of this infrastructure development.
