Khaled Abu Orabi

Khaled Ghazi Abu Orabi is a Senior Associate in the UAE office of GLA & Company. His practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, foreign direct investment, market-entry matters, and regulatory advisory work.

Khaled advises multinational and regional clients on a broad range of cross-border transactions and corporate matters, with particular experience in the UAE and the wider Middle East. His work includes advising on acquisitions and disposals, corporate reorganisations, shareholder and joint venture arrangements, commercial agreements, corporate governance, foreign ownership and investment structures, and regulatory and licensing matters. He also advises on corporate structuring, investment funds and financial services matters within the DIFC and ADGM, including fund structures, fintech businesses and related regulatory matters.

He regularly assists clients with the establishment, restructuring and operation of businesses in the UAE, including mainland and free-zone entities, and advises on the legal and regulatory considerations arising from complex regional and cross-border transactions.

Prior to joining GLA & Company, Khaled gained significant experience with law firms in the UAE and Jordan, advising international and regional clients on corporate, transactional and commercial matters. His cross-jurisdictional experience, combined with his fluency in Arabic and English, enables him to provide practical and commercially focused advice to clients operating across different legal and business environments.
