With a distinguished career spanning various industries and regions, Feras brings a wealth of expertise in regulatory affairs, corporate and labor matters, compliance issues, and international commercial transactions.

Feras’s professional journey include serving as the Middle East & Pakistan Region General Counsel for IBM, where he led a team managing transactions, litigation, corporate, and regulatory matters. His experience includes serving in key positions with globally recognized organizations such as Uber and Oracle Cerner, showcasing his versatile skill set and strategic legal acumen. Feras also served as general counsel and chief legal officer in a regional logistics company, and, prior to moving in-house, Feras was an associate in King and Spalding’s Dubai office and in Bracewell’s Houston office.

Feras has been involved in a variety of matters, ranging from engagement with regulators across several industries to the negotiation of cross-border settlement agreements to the handling of multi-million dollar arbitral matters before the ICC.  Feras has also been involved in a variety of notable transactions in the healthcare sector, ranging from the formation of a joint venture agreement in Saudi Arabia to landmark deals with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Sidra Research and Medical Centre (SRMC) in Qatar.

A Georgetown Law graduate, Feras also adds significant capabilities to the firm with respect to regulatory, startup, and market entry matters.  In addition, Feras’s 15+ years working in-house, combined with his private practice experience, adds significant value to the firm’s abilities to service our clients with concise and timely advice. His knowledge of the business environment in several jurisdictions across multiple industries is an added bonus for clients navigating high-stakes negotiations with companies and regulators alike.
