Ashraf brings a wealth of knowledge and practical insight, having represented major financial institutions and banks in multi-jurisdictional transactions. His experience includes syndicated and bilateral facilities, project finance, equity finance, and debt capital markets, including asset-backed financings and securitization issuances. Ashraf’s expertise in Islamic finance and his in-depth understanding of the GCC market position him uniquely to lead GLA & Co.’s banking and finance practice across the Middle East.

Ashraf’s accomplishments in the field have been recognized in prestigious legal rankings, where he has consistently been noted as a “Rising Star Partner” by IFLR1000 and a “Next Generation Partner” in Banking & Finance by Legal 500 EMEA. His academic background includes a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International and Comparative Law from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He is admitted to the Egyptian Bar Association and is proficient in English, Arabic and Italian, enhancing his ability to serve clients across the Middle East.
