The new office will be led by Mohammed Norri, who joins as Partner and Head of the Iraq Office, alongside Senior Associate Ammar Al Humairi. Both lawyers join from Al Tamimi & Company. 

Mr. Norri brings over 15 years of experience leading one of the most prominent legal practices in Iraq. As Partner and Head of the Baghdad Office at Al Tamimi & Company, he established himself as one of the most accomplished corporate lawyers in the country, advising international banks, oil and gas companies, telecommunications corporations, property development firms, and NGOs on some of the largest and most complex transactions in the Iraqi market. His expertise spans corporate documentation, commercial agreements, financing, construction, joint ventures, employment matters, dispute resolution, and market entry strategies.

Mr. Al Humairi, who joins as Senior Associate, brings over a decade of experience advising local and international clients on a wide range of Iraqi legal matters. His practice covers corporate and commercial matters, tax structuring and compliance, intellectual property, energy, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, insurance, and banking and finance. He is a member of the Iraqi Bar Association and holds dual qualifications in law and English language.
