Mounir is a corporate and commercial lawyer with a practice spanning corporate governance, competition & trade remedies, and maritime commercial matters. He advises clients across diverse sectors supporting complex commercial transactions and cross-border legal projects drafting complex transaction documents, including JV’s, SPAs, SHAs, escrow agreements, and SAFE notes.
Prior to joining GLA & Co, Mounir has worked at a Ibrachy & Dermarkar law firm in Egypt for 3 years, where he advised businesses on joint ventures, corporate restructurings, competition compliance, and regulatory matters. He also served as a legal counsel at Transmar International a regional maritime shipping company, supporting international shipping operations, negotiating high-value commercial agreements, and managing regulatory and risk-mitigation frameworks.
